There is a wide range of local exercise opportunities that do
not fall within the sport, dance, walking, gym or water based
category. We are lucky to have some excellent facilities in the
Medway area, and you can find these by using the service

You may be pleasantly surprised at the number of different
activities that will help you to keep active, including:
Getting out in the garden whether it’s to grow fruit and
vegetables to eat or flowers to admire is great for your health!
Gardening provides gentle exercise (depending on how many weeds you
may have!), can help to improve mental wellbeing and reduce stress
The Medway Public Health Team have their very own allotment,
which they encourage local groups to come down and use. To date
they have grown potatoes, tomatoes, squash, raspberries,
strawberries & much, much more!
