Free NHS talking therapies and counselling for issues such as bereavement, stress, worry, anger and personal situations which are causing low mood or depression.

Medway Talking Therapies offer free counselling services for people over 18 suffering from mild to moderate depression and anxiety, and other common mental health issues. You can self refer to these services or be referred by GP

The term 'talking therapy' covers all the psychological therapies that involve a person talking to a therapist about their problems.

For some problems and conditions, one type of talking therapy may be better than another. Different talking therapies also suit different people.
